Influenster's Freeman Beauty Campaign

I was selected by Influenster to try out Freeman's Barefoot Spa Professional Collection. They mailed out a coupon to pick up the product at Walmart. We got a choice to either get exfoliating polish or massage cream. I chose the exfoliating polish, due to the fact that I have a ton of lotions and creams already, and I love to find great new exfoliates and scrubs!

I am not gonna lie, finding this specific Freeman product was irritating. First I checked with the foot products, where I know the Freeman brand is, nope not there. Then I headed to the Personal care/beauty dept and searched the aisles. Nope. Not there. I then decided that I would try a different Walmart, since that one isn't the greatest. I went to the same departments and couldn't find it. Totally flustered, I asked an associate. Thankfully she had just stocked the exact Freeman's I needed! It was near the cash registers in their seasonal items, mixed in with tanning lotions and sunscreens, basically hiding!LOL

A note to Freeman, I would look into that maybe, because if I was looking to buy, and had not had a free coupon, I would have gave up trying to find it!

Now onto the actual product...

First thing I always do with this type of product is the sniff test. There isn't really a smell. When I am using a product, especially a spa type product, I like a relaxing scent. That is just my personal preference of course. Lavender would be awesome to be specific. Then again, maybe they want to leave it unscented to suit a larger mass of consumers?

Next thing, which I love, is that it is not just a foot exfoliant! I tend to think feet, when I hear "Freeman". Even though I own face products from Freeman, I just always think feet. It is a total body exfoliant! Awesome right?

So I hop in the bath and prop my legs up and start massaging it into my legs, focusing more on feet,ankles, and knees. It is a very gentle exfoliant, which I like. I have a lot of other brands that seem harsh on skin and leave me feeling sand papered! This is very gentle and left my skin feeling super soft and luscious! I really enjoyed the gentle skin therapy.

This is a product that I will definitely continue using and purchase in the future. Next time I will pick up the massage cream and pair it with the exfoliant. I would recommend this product and you can pick it up at Walmart for 4.99.

Product testing

One of my other favorite things to do beside discover and sample new beauty products is product testing! I got into this through a friend that referred me to influenster, which I will link below. It has became a serious passion and I completely love the idea of trying new things before I buy!

There are several companies I am coming across, but for the time being, I am only going to discuss the companies that I have actually received product from.

These are all totally free to join, so don't worry about any scamming! (phew)

When you become a member of these companies, you will fill out all your personal information, so they can of course know where to ship and contact you, and begin filling out their surveys. These surveys let them get to know you so they can invite you to products that interest and apply to you.

You are more likely to get products to test by completing all these surveys, and connecting all your social media. Also, keep checking back for new surveys and tasks! There will be instructions on each site explaining all of this.

And now, for the companies, and what I have tested so far. As a disclaimer, I received all these things for free, for testing purposes, compliments of each company.

As I stated above, this was my first product testing site I joined! When you sign up, you will need to complete your profile, and connect any social media you have. You will select badges for things are of interest to you. There are tasks in each badge, like writing reviews for products you have used. The more you do this site, the higher your score is, which means the higher the chance you have at being selected for a "Voxbox" which is a box filled with products for you to try and review. When you receive a Voxbox, there will be special tasks assigned to you. Always do as much as you can so they will want to send you more in the future!

My first Voxbox was called the "Jolly Voxbox" and I got it around Christmas time, which was so much fun! Inside the box was a full size box of Skinny Cow Divine filled chocolates,full size Rimmel London's Show off Lip Lacquer, full size NYC Trio Eyeshadow, a Duct tape brand's mini ducklings duct tape, and a Puffs Plus Lotion travel pack of tissues. I really enjoyed reviewing these products!

My second Voxbox was the "Optic White" Voxbox, which I reviewed in an earlier post. This included Colgate's new Optic white toothbrush with built in whitening pen, a travel sized Optic White toothpaste, and lots of coupons to hand out to Family and Friends.

I missed out on my third one because we were on Vacation and I missed the email and didn't have a chance to respond in time.

Overall I really like Influenster and they make product testing fun! They also have additional prizes to be won from testing their Voxboxes! They do twitter parties, where you can also win additional prizes! I definitely recommend them, and if you want to see what other Voxboxes they had, Instagram is a great place! I am not going to lie, so far this is my favorite product testing site, and the reason is simple....they have sent me the most product and it is super easy to use the site! When you sign up, it is the same process. Personal info, fill out all the surveys, and keep checking back for new surveys! That's it, and soon you should receive an email invite! Now to tell you what I got! Yippeeee!

First Campaign was for Schick Hydro Silk Sensitive Care. They sent me the full size razor, with cartridge replacements, a coupon for a free can of full size shave cream, and a ton of $4.00 off razor coupons to hand out!

Second Campaign was for Neutrogena Triple Repair Hair products. They sent me the full size shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioning treatment, and a ton of $3.00 off coupons to hand out or keep for myself.(I handed them out)

Third Campaign was for a 1 year subscription to GoDaddy.com for an accounting for small business service. I declined this one because I am no longer operating my small business, but I really wish I would have had this service when I was!

Fourth Campaign was for GoGo Squeez on the go applesauce. They have a ton of flavors! They sent me a box of 4, a fun magnet calender and picture frame and a ton of coupons for more! I have kids, so I am sure this is why they sent this one.

Fifth Campaign was for Quaker's Warm and Crunchy Granola. They sent me a full size box of Honey Almond (I selected the flavor), and a ton of $2.00 off coupons to use for the other flavors.

Sixth and final Campaign(for now) was another one geared towards my kids, Children's Claritin Allergy syrup. I had specified beforehand that my kids deal with seasonal allergies. They sent me a small bottle in grape and a ton of coupons.

I received Perk Vent Air wrap auto air fresheners. I will review these and post on here. They sent 4 Air vent wraps in 4 different scents, a small window shade, and coupons. I will write more about smiley 360 when I have more experience with the company.

Every other Tuesday, at 12pm Eastern, they release new samples. You have to log on and select the items available to you, add to box, then check out. These are completely free, but they go fast! Super fast, I have missed out so many times because I logged on too late. I have received lots of lotion and hair products. Keep in mind they have had way better stuff. i was just too late. The last time I was actually able to get on at 9 am (I am pacific time), and I got a full size Sinful nail polish, which I was able to choose from 5 different colors, Advil Pm, and a Shaklee 180 snack bar. The next Tuesday they are releasing samples is April 29th at 12pm EST.

Influenster's Optic White Voxbox

I received the Optic white vox box from influenster completely free for testing purposes. This came with the Optic white toothbrush with built in whitening pen, a travel size optic white toothpaste, and 6 coupons to hand out to Family and Friends.
Right off the bat, I fell in love with the toothbrush! You could feel that it was getting a deeper clean. It also has polishing pads inside the toothbrush to help remove stains. After flossing and using my mouthwash, I applied the whitening paste, which is built right into the toothbrush, and left the bathroom. So quick and easy, no rinsing required.I went on with my day. I did have to spit a couple of times, but that was it! I have used whitening pens in the past, and I always forgot to use them, so I love that it is built into the brush!
Now for the real question….Did it work?
Yes! My teeth are definitely whiter and my mouth feels so much cleaner. So easy and quick, plus it is totally affordable! It retails at Target for 12.99!
I will definitely continue to use this product! So happy I was able to try it, compliments from Influenster!
